Priscilla Baffour

Global EDI Strategy Director, Unilever

Priscilla is a multi-award-winning global Equity Diversity and Inclusion Leader, with a wealth of experience increasing underrepresentation in media. Over the last 15 years she has led several impactful diversity and inclusion initiatives with media companies including BBC, ITV, Media Trust, News International and many more.

Prior to joining Unilever, she was TikTok’s global Head of Diversity and Inclusion and played an instrumental role in driving a robust and authentic strategy across people, partnerships, and platform while shaping the culture of the organisation. Before that she oversaw the Financial Times first global D&I strategy and was also responsible for leading ITN’s strategy; accelerating their work around the Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gap. Priscilla spent five years at Channel 4 where she spearheaded 4Talent, delivered on the broadcaster’s first 360 Diversity Charter and won the Deputy Prime Minister’s Excellence Award for playing a pioneering role in tackling social mobility.

In July 2021 she was appointed by the CEO to the ITV Culture Advisory Board to support, advise, challenge and counsel ITV on its inclusion and diversity activities. She has been named one of the top eight BAME workplace heroes at the Investing in Ethnicity Awards, as well as one of the most influential Global D&I Leaders by Hive Learning. In 2022 she was highly commended as ‘Head of Diversity’ at the British Diversity Awards.
