Josefa González Blanco Ortiz Mena

Josefa became Mexico’s Ambassador to the UK and Northern Ireland in 2021. She serves as Mexico’s Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organization, International Mobile Satellite Organization, International Coffee Organization, International Sugar Organization, International Whaling Commission, and International Oil Pollution Compensation Funds (FIDAC). She was Mexico’s Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and has promoted social, environmental, and cultural programmes both in Mexico and the UK.
