Dr Helen A. Thomason, Ph.D.

Helen holds a degree in Human Genetics from Leeds University and a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Manchester, where she researched craniofacial and skin disorders caused by genetic inherited mutations. After her Ph.D., she transitioned from academia to industry, becoming Director of Research Sciences at Crawford Healthcare (now KCI). She now leads a Medical Affairs Team at 3M’s spin-off, Solventum, focused on advancing healthcare. With over 20 years of research experience, she continues to contribute to chronic wound research at the University of Manchester.
