Christina Gao

As the VP of Innovation at BP Trading & Shipping, Christina heads up a global innovation team within the trading business, focused on analysing and leveraging innovative technologies, rapid experimentations, and ecosystem partnerships to address commercial opportunities for the organisation. Prior to bp, Christina worked on cleaner energy solutions and digital ventures in Shell.

Christina is the winner at the inaugural Women of the Future Southeast Asia Award in 2017 for her contribution to Shell’s energy transition effort in Asia Pacific and subsequently taking the bold move to pivot a successful commercial career midway and plunging into the world of digital and startups where she continues to thrive.
