Julie Brown

Julie joined GSK as Chief Financial Officer in May 2023. She joined GSK from Burberry, where she was the Chief Operating and Financial Officer for six years. Prior to that, Julie was the CFO at Smith & Nephew plc for four years and previously spent 25 years at Astra Zeneca in a number of senior Finance roles, operating across 4 countries and on 3 continents, ultimately becoming the Interim Group CFO.
In addition to her CFO role at GSK Julie is a non-executive director and Audit Chair at Diageo plc. She also sits on the Mayor of London’s Business Advisory Board and is a member of the 100Group Main Committee, as well as being a member of the Accounting for Sustainability’s CFO Leadership Network, a Patron of Oxford University Women in Business and an Ambassador for the King’s Trust Women Supporting Women Initiative.
