Jo Danton

Jo studied Economics at Cambridge before briefly becoming a Maths and PE teacher. After that Jo then joined the Bank of England, where she spent most of her career and retired in 2022 in order to move to a portfolio career. At the Bank, Jo held a number of positions including leading the statistics division, heading up the banking arm during the financial crisis, and most recently as the Bank’s COO.
Jo currently sits on the Boards of Cash Access UK, University of Derby Business School, and Trailblazers, a charity offering mentoring services to young offenders.
