Tina Redshaw

British Ambassador to Cambodia

Tina has had a long and distinguished diplomat career. She was the first female British Ambassador to Cambodia 2018-2022, and previously only the second British Ambassador to Timor-Leste following independence (2003-2007). She twice served in the British Embassy in Beijing (2000-2003; 2007-2010), and as British Consul-General to South West China in Chongqing (2012-2016). She re-established the British Consulate-General in Perth, Western Australia in 2023, and was briefly Acting High Commissioner in Tonga in early 2024. Tina has also worked at Deputy Head of Climate Change and Energy, and in both the China and Southeast Asia departments of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. She speaks Chinese, Khmer, German and French. She is now pursuing new opportunities as an independent consultant in South East Asia.
