Sharmin is a business development professional with over 15 years of experience in the financial services, consulting, government, and tech sectors. She is skilled at identifying and seizing opportunities, building and leading regional teams, and developing client relationships. She is also a strong advocate for women in tech and has a proven track record of driving business growth and innovation. Sharmin has lived in Singapore, Shanghai, Dubai, and Hong Kong and has worked for NZTE, KPMG, Deloitte, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Zurich Financial Services, and HSBC.

Sharmin has lived and worked in Singapore, Shanghai, Dubai, Hong Kong and Bangladesh, having worked for KPMG, Deloitte, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Zurich Financial Services and HSBC.

Sharmin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and has a MBA from University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.

She is an active member of Financial Women’s Organization. LeanIn and UN Women in Singapore. Sharmin is a boxer, has a Black Belt in Wado Ryu Karate and an avid dragon boater.
