Judit Pach
Hungarian Ambassador to Singapore and Brunei Darussalam
Judit Pach earned her first degree at the faculty of economic diplomacy and international management at Budapest Business School and shortly after finished her studies at the Université March Bloch de Strasbourg.
In 2005 she joined the Office of the newly elected Hungarian President, Mr. László Sólyom and served as his chief of press and spokesperson.
In 2011 she became the chief of cabinet of the Minister of State for Development Policy at the Hungarian Ministry for National Development, dealing with the distribution of domestic and EU development funds. After the restructuring of the government in 2012, she was asked to head the newly establish International Communication Office at the Office of the Prime Minister.
In 2014 she was appointed Ambassador of Hungary to Indonesia, East-Timor and ASEAN and moved to Jakarta in 2015, where she stayed over 6 years boosting trade relations and achieving one of the greatest Hungarian technology exports (in January 2021 Indonesia announced that they’ll implement their new e-tolling system with Hungarian technology).
Since 2021 October she is the Hungarian ambassador to Singapore and Brunei Darussalam. She is also Hungary’s governor in ASEF and member of the Executive Comitee of the Foundation.
For her outstanding achievements she received awards from the Minister for National Development (2012) and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade (2016). Due to her work with the President she also received state decorations from Lithuania, Belgium and Poland.
Personally she is engaged in women empowerment, mentoring and supporting female leadership, as well as being a strong advocate for sustainability.
