Monypich Sou

Co-Founder and CEO, Tube Café Co,. Ltd

Born and raised in Phnom Penh, Monypich completed her scholarship B.A. in Economics & Management from Royal University of Law and Economics specializing in Banking and Finance with a 4.0 GPA as well as a B.A. in International Business from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. She was on the national team of AIESEC Cambodia and went on an intensive exchange program to Oslo, Norway in 2011.

Additionally, she is a founding member of Global Community Shaper, Phnom Penh Hub Charter in early 2018 initiated by World Economic Forum in Geneva. She served as the panelist at ‘Women in Business 2017’ organized by British Chamber of Commerce and Australian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, as well as an international guest speaker at ‘DragoNation Global Entrepreneurship Forum 2018’ which is held at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She was also a Cambodian Delegate to the International Leaders Program hosted by Foreign Commonwealth Office, UK government in London, July 2018. Currently, she is an Advisory Board of Women of The Future (WoF) for the year 2020 – 2021.

Monypich is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Tube Café Co,. Ltd, a local new venture that caters a fast, affordable and quality coffee in the takeaway market in Phnom Penh. After a rigorous testing and creating the brand development strategy, Tube Coffee has officially launched a first store in March 2017 and the 20th store by December 2020. She is responsible for financial success and growth of Tube Café’s business in order toaccomplish company’s mission and vision by bringing a Cambodian local brand to the international market. Prior to launching Tube Café, Monypich serves as the founding general manager for Emerald+ Property Management company for 2 years. At Emerald+, she has built and managed a team of 60 employees, overseeing the operations, financial management and developed strong relationships with corporate partners, professional and business associations, chambers of commerce, media, government officials, and investors. Back in 2013, She used to work for Sabay Digital Corp. one of the leading digital media and entertainment group in Cambodia, specializing in marketing strategy implementation. On top of that, she has exposure in many European countries and United States through exchange entrepreneurship summer courses and being nominated in the shortlist business plan from Mckinsey Mekong Challenge hosted by Mckinsey & Company.
