Roshan Vaswani is CNBC International’s Head of News and Programming, Asia Pacific. Vaswani oversees all of the network’s output, managing CNBC’s business day news and weekend programming. As Head of News and Programming, Vaswani establishes editorial priorities with producers and leads a team of over 70 editorial staff across the network’s regional news bureaux in Singapore, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Beijing and Sydney.

Vaswani has supervised many of CNBC’s daily live shows including Squawk Box Asia, Cash Flow and field-produced events such as Squawk on the Road: Indonesia and the network’s live coverage during the ASEAN and APEC Summits. With over 15 years of experience in financial news, she has covered many global events including the collapse of Lehman Brothers, the Global Financial Crisis and the market slowdown in China.

She also produced CNBC Asia’s first-ever live broadcast of the Asia Business Leaders Awards in 2001, creating a new format and program which has been successfully replicated over the last decade in cities including Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Bangkok and Shanghai..
