Sam Malone
Spoken Voice & Executive Presence RADA Coach
Sam Malone is a spoken voice, public speaking and executive presence coach who helps people communicate with authority, authenticity and impact when it matters most.
He works with C-suite executives, solicitors, senior professionals, entrepreneurs, performers and emerging public figures to develop the voice and presence needed to lead, inspire and be trusted. His coaching supports clients in high-pressure situations, from media interviews and public appearances to boardroom presentations, keynote speeches, leadership conversations and moments of public visibility.
Sam’s work is built on the belief that how we speak shapes how we are received. He helps clients develop a grounded and compelling presence, manage nerves, maintain composure under pressure and communicate in a way that feels confident without being forced. His approach is particularly valuable for people who need to put their best foot forward while remaining authentic, human and connected.
Sam brings together the craft of high-level actor training, the insight of adult education and the practical understanding of corporate life. He holds an MFA with Distinction in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, alongside a Master of Education specialising in Adult Learning and a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business. He currently works with leading institutions including RADA, Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
His students have gone on to perform in major West End productions including Mamma Mia, Mean Girls, Les Misérables, Hadestown, Six, Standing at the Sky’s Edge and The Phantom of the Opera, as well as appearing at the National Theatre and on platforms including Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
Alongside his work in actor training, Sam supports organisations and high-performing professionals across sectors, including: law, finance, healthcare, hospitality, sports, and entertainment. His clients and collaborators have included the NHS, Wagamama, Popeyes UK, Shoosmiths LLP, the University of Manchester and Skadden LLP.
Sam is also passionate about helping people from traditionally marginalised communities find and trust their voice in the toughest rooms. This commitment sits at the heart of his work, supporting clients not only to speak well, but to take up space, be heard and be recognised on their own terms.
Whether working with a senior leader, a public figure, a performer or someone preparing for a defining professional moment, Sam helps people speak in a way that carries. His work gives clients the tools to be calm under pressure, present in the room and powerful in the moments that shape how they are seen.
