Sharmin Reehman

At KPMG, Sharmin was responsible Strategic Pursuits and Business Development, dedicating of time to KPMG’s Advisory Priority Clients. She was the Account Manager for 6 Financial Services client while she was in Deloitte. Sharmin was Regional Client Fulfilment Manager for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she was heading the post-sales implementation team for Fortune 500 MNCs, responsible for 15 countries in APAC. Prior to that, Sharmin was in Dubai and Shanghai, for 4 years and 18 months respectively where she was working as the Business Development Manager for an alternative investment start-up company called Advantage Management.

In Hong Kong, Sharmin worked for HSBC and Zurich Financial Services. At Zurich, her focus was more on driving sales and scaling up the product portfolio. Sharmin’s move to HSBC Hong Kong was a promotion of her role in HSBC Bangladesh, where she directed a team in treasury transaction banking, concentrating mostly on e-commerce solutions.

Sharmin has lived and worked in Singapore, Shanghai, Dubai, Hong Kong and Bangladesh, having worked for KPMG, Deloitte, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Zurich Financial Services and HSBC.

Sharmin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and has a MBA from University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.

She is an active member of Financial Women’s Organization. LeanIn and UN Women in Singapore. Sharmin is a boxer, has a Black Belt in Wado Ryu Karate and an avid dragon boater.
