Finola joined CNBC International as Vice-President of Communications & Marketing in April 2014.
She leads a team responsible for all PR and marketing activities across EMEA and APAC, including media relations, consumer and client marketing. She also sits on the International Marketing Council at NBCUniversal of which CNBC is a division.
Before joining CNBC, Finola was Director of Communications at Business Europe, the largest business lobby group in Brussels, where she led all campaign work directed at the EU institutions. Business Europe represents both multinationals and SMEs from 34 countries including all EU member States.
The early part of her 15 year career was also spent in the campaign arena as a political and communications strategist both in her native Ireland and in Europe. She was Head of Public Affairs with the Irish Business & Employers’ Confederation, IBEC, for several years, having started her professional life in the NGO sector campaigning on adult literacy and sustainability issues.
